For the Nissan 370Z we offer two configurations of exhaust. Both are constructed of high grade stainless steel. The first is our Slip-On (axle back) system. A finely crafted replacement muffler system, it installs easily using the original mounting points. The Evolution system uses the same muffler as the Slip-On system. However, it also includes high-flow link pipes with integrated resonators and crossover tube that replace the entire exhaust system from the catalysts back. With both systems you can choose between 125 mm tail pipes made from either titanium (sandblasted and coated) or aerospace-grade carbon fiber. We at Akrapovic strive to make cars sound the way they were intended to. The 370Z is no exception. The Slip-On systems generate a deeper-than-stock tone with the sporty sound you would expect from the 3.7-liter high-revving engine. While the Evolution system is louder than the Slip-On, both are still perfectly acceptable for daily use and have no droning that would otherwise ruin the driving experience. There are power gains not just at or near redline, but across the entire rpm range. The Slip-On system produces a boost in performance. A gain of 5 horsepower and 5 Nm of torque are generated, as well as a weight reduction of 1 kg when compared to stock.
